PRIVACY POLICY

Vidn Connections, LLC (“Vidn,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and understands the importance of privacy to our users. We developed this Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) to explain how we collect, use, share, and protect Personal Information (defined below), and your choices about the collection and use of Personal Information.
This Policy applies to Personal Information collected or processed through our Vidn mobile application- Vidn (“App”), our website- vidn.app (“Site”), offered products, and any other Vidn-operated app, website, or social media page that links to this Policy (collectively, the “Services”).
After you read this Policy, please read our Terms of Service. This Policy and our Terms of Service work in conjunction. In the event any terms in this Policy conflict with the Terms of Service, the Terms of Service shall control.

- What is Personal Information?
“Personal Information” is information that identifies or relates to a particular individual. Examples of Personal Information include, among others, name, email address, phone number, mailing address, and online identifiers.
- How We Use Personal Information
We use or in the future may potentially use Personal Information for the following purposes:
- Offering our Services to you;
- Analyzing, administering, and improving the App and Site;
- Enabling secure use of the App and Site;
- Billing and payment for in-App purchases;
- Sending information and promotional materials;
- Protecting our rights or our property;
- Meeting legal obligations; and
- For other purposes related to the reasons for which you provide Personal Information.
We will retain your Personal Information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which we collected and processed the Personal Information, or as required by applicable laws.
- Information that You Provide Us
In various places within the App or Site, we may request information from you via forms. The exact information we need to collect (including Personal Information) will depend on the purpose of the form.
For example, when you download the App and create an account (“Account”), we may collect Personal Information and certain account registration information (“Registration Information”), such as:
- Name;
- Username;
- Cell phone number;
- Gender identity;
- Email address;
- IP address;
- Date of birth;
- Sexual preference;
- Videos or Recordings;
- Location; and
- Login information associated with your Gmail account or social media accounts that you connect to your Account (this could include, for example, your Facebook and Instagram accounts).
If we offer and you elect to make an in-App purchase, we will collect your Personal Information, including, but not limited to name and payment card information and will retain this information securely to prevent fraud and audit/tax purposes.
We will indicate on the form whether a particular field of information is mandatory or optional. If you choose not to provide certain information, we may not be able to provide the requested Services.
- Information We Automatically Collect from You
We collect the following types of information automatically through your use of the App and Site:
- Cookies, Device Identifiers, and Similar technologies
When you use or access the App or Site, we and our service providers may use cookies and device identifiers to analyze how you interact with the App or Site. Cookies are small data files that are transferred to your computer’s hard disk and are used to store information about website visits, your preferences, and enhances website functionality.
We process the information collected through such technologies, which may include or be combined with Personal Information, to help operate certain features of the Services, to enhance your experience through personalization, and to help us better understand the features of the App that you and other users are most interested in. For example, we use Cookies to facilitate a user’s log-in and as navigation aids.
Most browsers provide you with the ability to block, delete, or disable cookies, and your mobile device may allow you to disable transmission of unique identifiers and location data. If you choose to reject cookies or block device identifiers, some features of the Services may not be available or some functionality may be limited or unavailable. Please review the help pages of your browser or mobile device for assistance with changing your settings.
Some of our service providers may use cookies or other methods to gather information regarding your use of the Services, and may combine the information in these cookies with any Personal Information about you that they may have. The use of such tracking information by a third party depends on the privacy policy of that third party. We do not respond to Do Not Track (“DNT”) signals sent to us by your browser at this time. - Analytics
To assist us with analyzing the traffic to our App or Site when using cookies or similar technologies, we may use analytics services, including Google Analytics. For more information on Google Analytics’ processing of your information, please see “How Google uses data when you use our partners’ sites or apps.”
- Advertising
We may engage third parties, including social media platforms, who may use cookies, pixel tags, and other storage technologies to collect or receive information from the App, the Site, and elsewhere on the internet to provide marketing services to us, including targeted advertising. If you want to learn more, including how you may opt-out of targeted advertising, you should visit the following sites: https://www.aboutads.info/choices/, https://www.networkadvertising.org, https://www.youradchoices.com (please note: we do not operate or control these third party sites, and there may be additional ways for you to opt out of online advertising). Please note that by opting out, you will continue to see ads, but ads may not be as relevant to your interests.
- Log File Information
When you use the App or Site, our servers automatically record information, including your Internet Protocol address (“IP Address”), browser type, referring URLs (e.g., the site you visited before coming to our App or Site), domain names associated with your internet service provider, information on your interaction with the App or Site, and other such information (collectively, “Log File Information”). We may also collect similar information from emails sent to you which then help us track which emails are opened and which links are clicked by recipients.
We use Log File Information collected from our implementation of the App or Site to help secure the Services by identifying potential threats and vulnerabilities, and improve the App’s function and content.
We will not disclose Personal Information except as set forth in this Policy. This section describes to whom we disclose Personal Information and for what purposes:
- Your Consent. If you consent, by creating an Account, we may share or disclose your information to third party web clients or third party advertisers. As discussed below in Section 10, if you provide written consent to the Media Consent and Release, we may use, publish, reproduce, create, distribute, or publicly display Your Content on our operated social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.).
- Our Service Providers. We engage service providers to perform tasks on our behalf and to assist us in operating the App and Site, and offering our products. For example, we may use third-party vendors and hosting companies to provide the necessary hardware, software, networking, storage, and related technology required to operate the Services. We may store encrypted database backups off site with a third-party storage provider to ensure data security in the case of an emergency or catastrophe. We take commercially reasonable steps to help ensure our service providers provide at least the same level of protection for Personal Information as we do.
- Companies Involved in Mergers and Acquisitions Transactions. If we sell or otherwise transfer part or the whole of our business or assets to another organization (g., in the course of a transaction like a merger, acquisition, bankruptcy, dissolution, or liquidation), any information collected through the Services, including Personal Information, may be among the items sold or transferred.
- Law Enforcement, Government Agencies, and Courts. We may disclose Personal Information at the request of law enforcement or government agencies; in response to subpoenas, court orders, or other legal process; to establish, protect, or exercise our rights; to defend against a legal claim; to protect the rights, property, or safety of any other person; or as otherwise required by law.
We protect the confidentiality and security of Personal Information we obtain in the course of business. We use commercially reasonable safeguards, such as industry-standard encryption technology, to help keep the Personal Information collected through the Services secure.
Despite these efforts to store Personal Information in a secure operating environment, we cannot guarantee the security of Personal Information during its transmission or its storage. Further, while we attempt to ensure the integrity and security of Personal Information, we cannot guarantee that our security measures will prevent third parties such as hackers from illegally obtaining access to Personal Information. We do not represent or warrant that Personal Information about you will be protected against, loss, misuse, or alteration by third parties.
- Geolocation Information
If you enable the geolocation features while you use the App, we will collect certain location information about your current longitude and latitude and may use these coordinates to enhance your experience with the App. This information helps us identify your physical location and we may use it to personalize the App and make it easier for you to interact with other users.
As discussed above, in Section 2, we keep your Personal Information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected and processed, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, regulatory, accounting or reporting requirements. In some circumstances, we may de-identify, aggregate, or otherwise anonymize your Personal Information consistent with applicable laws and industry standards so that it can no longer be associated with you, in which case it is no longer treated as Personal Information.
It is our policy to retain your Personal Information while your Account is active. Once you deactivate your Account, we will take reasonable efforts to make sure your Account is no longer viewable on the App. After your Account is inactive for an extended period of time, we may delete Personal Information and Registration Information associated with your Account, unless: applicable laws require us to keep information, to evidence our compliance with applicable laws, your information is relevant to an outstanding claim or dispute, or the information must be kept for our legitimate business interests (e.g. fraud prevention or enhancing the security and safety of the App and Site).
If you would like to otherwise access, update, or delete Personal Information or Registration Information about you, you may submit a request to vidn@vidn.app. We will promptly review all such requests in accordance with applicable law.

With your permission, we may send you notifications, promotions, or other information via email or text message (“Communications”). You may choose to stop receiving Communications by clicking on the conspicuous “Unsubscribe” link located at the bottom of the email we may send to you or following the directions to “Unsubscribe” as outlined in the text message we may send you. Please note that certain Services-related Communications are necessary for the proper functioning and use of the App and Site (e.g., to verify the phone number associated with the Account) and you may not have the ability to opt out of those Communications.
- Rights to Your Content
In accordance with our corresponding Terms of Service, you agree that any Personal Information, videos, or electronic messages (“Your Content”) you post to the App, may be viewed by other users and the users may share your content with third parties. In addition, upon your review and written consent to the Media Consent and Release, you represent and warrant that Vidn may use, publish, reproduce, create, distribute, or publicly display Your Content on our operated social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.) for advertising, promotional, or any other commercial purposes as well as non-commercial purposes directly or indirectly relating to the Services.
If you use the Services outside the United States, please be aware that Personal Information may be collected, stored, and processed in the United States. We will not transfer Personal Information internationally. Please be aware that the data protection laws of the United States might not be as comprehensive as those in your country.
- Must be eighteen (18) years of age to use
Vidn was made for and intended to be used solely by individuals eighteen (18) years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect or solicit any Personal Information from minors under the age of eighteen (18). In the event that we learn that we have collected Personal Information from a minor under the age of eighteen (18), we will promptly take steps to delete that information.
- Third Party Sites
To register your Account, you must connect through a third party platform, such as Gmail or Facebook. As a reminder, when you register with a third party, you are providing them Personal Information, so we recommend that you read their privacy policies. We do not control how third parties use your Personal Information.
- Third Party Links
We are not responsible for the practices employed by any websites or services linked to or from our App or Site, including the information or content contained within them. A link to a third party’s website should not be construed as an endorsement. We encourage you to investigate and ask questions before disclosing Personal Information to third parties.
We may modify or update this Policy from time to time, so please review it periodically. If we make a change to this Policy that, in our sole discretion, is material, we will notify you as appropriate under the circumstances. Unless otherwise indicated, any changes to this Policy will apply immediately upon posting to the Site.
